AMLO attacks US “Immigration is a Human Right”
Mexican presidential candidate Andrés Manuel López Obrador protested heavily to the treatment of illegal immigrants in the US following a wave of propaganda falsely depicting Mexican children locked in cramped cages.
Speaking at a rally, AMLO demanded President Enrique Peña Nieto take three immediate actions against the “Inhumane, Racist, and arrogant” US government.
The first actions is to issue a diplomatic note of protest against the US government, the second being to request intervention by the high commissioner of the United Nations Organization to stop the racist, inhumane deportation of children by separating them from their family and stuffing them in cages.
The final demand that the president send a team of psychologists, lawyers, and social workers to help the children.
AMLO affirmed that if he should become president, he will become an advocate for immigration world wide. He further stated:
“And soon, very soon, to the triumph of our movement we are going to defend the migrants of the entire American continent and all the migrants of the world who, by necessity, have to leave their villages to seek life in the United States, it is a human right that we are going to defend, “
